WORK CONTEXT OF STARTUPS IN A NORTHEASTERN CAPITAL

Aiming to evaluate the characteristics of the work context of startups in a capital in the northeast of Brazil, a quantitative study was carried out with 105 people who work in startups in a northeastern capital. Data were collected through the application of the Work Context Assessment Scale (EACT) and analyzed using descriptive statistics and non-parametric tests. The results showed satisfactory evaluations in the constructs of work relations and working conditions, while the work organization dimension presented a critical diagnosis. It was concluded that the characteristics of the investigated work context are positive and favorable to experiences of pleasure.
