The aim of this study is to analyze the challenges and motivations of low-income entrepreneurship. A qualitative study was conducted through five semi-structured interviews with female entrepreneurs. Challenges such as low capital and difficulties in accessing financing programs are faced by these businesswomen. Balancing multiple activities due to cultural heritage complicates their sustainability in the market. Motivations include the need to improve income, balance work and family, and an affinity for the product or service. This underscores the urgency to review policies, reduce gender disparities, promote inclusion, and support low-income female entrepreneurship.
