Conhecimento e o papel multidimensional das instituições educacionais em cidades inteligentes e sustentáveis

Cidades inteligentes e sustentáveis (CISs) exigem estratégias integradas nas áreas social, ambiental e tecnológica. Embora as universidades sejam amplamente estudadas como centros de conhecimento urbano, os papéis das escolas e das universidades corporativas permanecem pouco explorados. Com base em uma revisão sistemática da literatura, este estudo propõe um modelo multidimensional que explica como diferentes instituições de ensino contribuem para as CISs em cinco dimensões: conhecimento, capital humano, inovação, financiamento e parcerias. Os resultados mostram as universidades como atores centrais, as escolas como promotoras do engajamento cívico e da inovação comunitária, e as universidades corporativas como contribuintes emergentes. De modo geral, as descobertas ressaltam a necessidade de um ecossistema educacional abrangente para fomentar o desenvolvimento urbano inclusivo e adaptativo.
