Abstract

Reflections of the medical doctor and artist José Henrique Barreto on his incursion into the artistic and scientific fields, and the procedures he uses to incorporate the dialogues between these areas in the configuration of his poetics.

José Henrique Barreto, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Medicina e Saúde (UFBA)

José Henrique Barreto é Doutor em Medicina pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Medicina e Saúde (UFBA) e Mestre em Artes Visuais pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Artes Visuais da Escola de Belas Artes (UFBA). Na Medicina, atua nas áreas da Pediatria, Oncologia Pediátrica e Epidemiologia. Participa ativamente como pesquisador tanto na Medicina, quanto nas Artes Visuais, buscando aliar esses campos de conhecimento como filosofia de vida. Atualmente trabalha no Hospital São Rafael, em Salvador, Bahia, como oncologista pediatra. Hospital São Rafael - A. São Rafael, 2152 – São Marcos, Salvador – BA, 41253-190
