Audience Over Eight: Irene A’mosi and the Spoken Word in Angola

This interview was part of a field research carried out in 2024 in the city of Luanda. This study aims to understand the scene of arts of the Angolan capital through conversations with art curators, researches and artists from different languages areas. Irene A’mosi is a spoken word artist and works multidisciplinary. She has been working with poetry and stories since 2017 and in this interview, she describes her trajectory and her thoughts on the spoken word scene and the meeting of different generations of artists in Luanda.
