Considering the events related with the campaign #BringBackOurGirls, the aim of this article is to draw a critical and conceptual reflection based on a counterpoint between photographic and written narratives, problematizing the practice of representation of the subaltern subject and its agency. Tackling the intersection between gender and childhood as a paradigm of a subaltern narrative, I propose a critical reflection concerning the relationship between subject and object suggested and implied by written and visual representations of childhood.Downloads
