The production of text as cultural investment, including the gesture toward the conversation between reader and text, is profitable when one aims to discuss “manifestations of the idea of value in literature: ethics and aesthetics” As the title suggests, this essay pursues these ideas by understanding textuality as an economy of signs in progress, and as a value of exchange between significant practices, focusing on the work of Maria Gabriela Llansol (1931-2008), and above all on her final and posthumous book, Uma data em cada mão – Livro de horas I.
