Our interest is to describe and discuss the thinking, the feeling and the acting of the feminine characters in the ficcional narrative of both Portuguese authors, aiming at detecting, in these representations of the feminine, different subjectivities which proceed from different generations, in pararell with a respectivelly modern and post-modern “Zeitgeist”, according to the vision of some contemporaneous theoreticians.
