The text proposes a preliminary systematization of the literary and cultural relations established by Angolan, Brazilian, Mozambican and Portuguese artists and intellectuals within the political struggles of the twentieth century modernity. Assuming that these relations have generated a specific cultural field, which configured and reconfigured the meanings of community, the present study aims at reconstituting the formation of the intellectual nets which, at the margin of official institutions, at the literary writing level or at the one of cultural intervention, position themselves face political challenges common to the last sixty years.
