The present work consists of a brief reading of Herberto Helder’s most recent book among the unpublished ones: “Death without a master”. This review aims at listing some motifs present since a long time in the work of the obscure poet, like death, eroticism, the sacred, and with a strike remark on the value of poetry and on editorial policies’ issues.
