Abstract

The objective of this paper is to analyse Auto da barca do motor fora da borda (1966), by Luís de Sttau Monteiro, from the intertextual dialogue he does with Auto da barca do inferno (1517), by Gil Vicente. Boat and cruise are scenic signs used by authors to represent two historic moments in Por­tugal. However, in both instances, people who work for thrive the society cannot participate in your progress.

Coordenador do Projeto de Pesquisa Ideologia e literatura juvenil brasileira contemporânea: contribuição para a formação de leitor literário no Ensino Básico.
