The purpose of this paper is to analyze the double face of Love in two sonnets by Camões, from looking at the author’s historical period. This is a bibliographical research, theoretically based in Hauser (1972; 1973; 1993), Rougemont (1988), Spina (1991), Paz (1994) and Sarai- va & Lopes (2010).Downloads
