The main of this article is to face autoethnography, in the light of a fieldwork carried out by the authors, in order to establish a dialogue with the practice concentrating the discussion around a central aspect for ethnographer: scientific reflexivity. A description and critical perspective of autoethnography is sought in Caroline Ellis (1999), among other authors. The specific context of the researches in question did not contemplate autoethnography as a possible methodological path, but it imposes itself as an alternative to include data observed in the private life of the researchers, which involve their children and raises ethical, resistance and gender issues.
