WOMEN AND COMPUTING: INTERSECCIONAL ANALYSIS OF AN UNDREGRADUATE COURSE

Women’s participation in the Technology field has shown a downward trend in recent years. This research aimed to discuss the low participation of women in Computing from an intersectional feminist perspective based on an analysis of the Course Pedagogical Project and current and historical data from the Bachelor of Information Systems course from <Anonymized>. The results were discussed from the literature in the area of Computing and feminist authors, with emphasis on the intersectional approach, aiming in this way to deal with the cutouts of race and socioeconomic condition together with gender.
