Abstract

Based on feminist epistemologies, the article discusses the feminization of Haitian migrations to the south of Brazil in search of better living conditions or to flee violence in the country of origin, and after establishing residence, they begin family reunification. The dialogue with Haitians has privileged the methodological approach of narratives over the transnationalization of family ties and situations of violence from Haiti to Brazil. The migration process of Haitians contributes to the improvement of policies, programs, projects and methodologies of Social Service capable of intersecting the various markers of social difference.
