“O QUE É VIOLÊNCIA DOMÉSTICA E FAMILIAR CONTRA AS MULHERES?” UMA DISCUSSÃO INICIAL SOBRE AS PERCEPÇÕES DE ADOLESCENTES

Abstract

This work aims to examine the meaning that adolescents attribute to the expression domestic and family violence against women, to investigate your level of knowledge. For this purpose, 392 essays written by high school students from a public school are analyzed using the content analysis technique proposed by Bardin (2011). In general, the results obtained reveal the naturalization of violent behaviors and the lack of understanding, by a significant number of participants, of what domestic and family violence is.
