Women in the management of IFSC- Campus Florianópolis

Abstract

 This research presents difficulties, challenges and reflections of women in the management of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina - Campus Florianópolis. It is a research with a qualitative and quantitative approach, through bibliographic and documentary sources and application of a questionnaire. As a main result, it was found that most women servers did not receive specific training to work in management and did not feel prepared for the position. The biggest challenges were related to people management and interpersonal relationships, and the biggest difficulties were related to the fact that they were not heard and the existence of machism.
