In the context of the struggle for women's rights in the labor market, gradual progress is being made towards high-ranking positions. However, in traditionally male-dominated sectors such as construction and steel industry, this advancement is challenging. This study examines female empowerment in these domains, highlighting obstacles like discrimination, wage disparities and mentorship. The qualitative research involving 8 leaders in construction and steel industry revealed that the empowerment process is often unconscious, not recognized as a gender gain, but rather as an individual effort. This underscores new strategies of submission to patriarchal dominance in the organizational landscape.
