Women face socioeconomic obstacles that deprive them of various rights throughout their lives. With this in mind, this article analysed the specificities of employment, income, and access to essential services for Brazilian women during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research methodology employed included the Alkire-Foster method, which allowed for the calculation of the multidimensional poverty measure based on statistical data from PNAD-COVID. The results indicate that approximately 66.20% of Brazilian women can be considered multidimensionally poor. Rural women present the highest proportion of poverty (81.11%), with an intensity of deprivations reaching 66.70%.
