About the Journal

Passagens: International Journal of Political History and Legal Culture is an initiative of the City and Power Laboratory (LCP) Research Group, affiliated with the Graduate Program in History at the Federal University of Fluminense. The LCP brings together professors and researchers affiliated with the Graduate Programs in Political Science, Sociology, Law, and Psychology. The goal of Passagens is to expand sociability and academic exchange within the intellectual fields of the humanities and social sciences.

Passages: International Review  of Political History and Culture of Law (‘Passagens: Revista Internacional de História Política e Cultura Jurídica”, in Portuguese) is an initiative of the Research Group (City and Power Laboratory) founded in the beginning of the nineties and active in the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences of the Fluminense Federal University, in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro – singular center and area of academic multi-field practices and exchanges, in the area of human and social sciences. Situated in the scope of the History postgraduate program, the LCP (City and Power Laboratory) gathers professors and researches affiliated to political sciences, sociology and law and psychology postgraduate programs.
