Gestão do conhecimento como catalisador da inovação no setor público

Abstract

As societies face increasingly complex and severe challenges, effective knowledge management and the promotion of innovation emerge as indispensable pillars in the public sector context. Thus, with the aim of verifying how knowledge management can enhance innovation in the public sector, an integrative literature review was conducted. This review allowed for the presentation of research results addressing this topic, showing in an analysis that observed major outcomes, methods used, and their successful applications in various innovative public sectors. From these observations, it is concluded that this study contributes to the literature by demonstrating how knowledge management can be an effective catalyst for innovation in the public sector. This analysis also identified that the use of knowledge management in public sector innovation remains an underrepresented area in the currently published literature.
