Abstract

This study investigates the symbiotic relationship between knowledge management and open innovation in innovation hubs in Brazil. The research is original in its empirical focus, analyzing the knowledge management practices and tools used in these environments. Methodologically, it involves descriptive and exploratory research using secondary data from 10 private innovation hubs operating in Brazil, identified through an Open Startups ranking. The results highlight the importance of knowledge sharing and collaboration for achieving better outcomes in open innovation initiatives. Practical implications suggest that innovation hub managers should invest in knowledge management processes and develop evaluation mechanisms to measure the impact of these practices.
