Abstract

Freeman Tilden established the concept of Interpretation and its relationship with the structuring of an educational process in a non-formal teaching space. This article aims to report the experiences of the trip to Germany to participate in the 12th Monitoring and Management of Visitors in Recreational and Protected Areas (MMV), focusing on the field activities provided by the academic event. It was gratifying to experience in a practical way the gain of new colors and dimensions, when the information reveals new meanings for what is being observed. However, there were problems in accessing information due to language and internet barriers. The lessons that remain refer to the possibility of recovering degraded areas and the necessary environmental management with community participation, considering the landscape maintained by the ecosystemic relationships in which human society is inserted.
