Critical review of Maps Invented, a work by Jéssica Lauriano, a walking artist from Minas Gerais and based in São Paulo. The word process has the character of an oeuvre, as her works are characterized by repetition, longevity, and the accumulation of experiences stemming from walks in the city. It is from these walks and their recordings that her creations are presented in time and space. This writing was undertaken as a theoretical exercise during an artistic mentoring process the author conducted with the artist, drawing on conversations, the artist's personal notes, produced texts, and images from the poetic experiment Maps Invented.
