UMA AGENDA PARA A INTELECTUALIDADE DA AMÉRICA LATINA E CARIBE

Resumo: Ante o questionamento sobre as formas com que a intelectualidade da América Latina e do Caribe buscou pensar para além do Estado-nação e por uma agenda metanacional pensada por-para essa mesma intelectualidade se estuda a obra Leopoldo Zea (LZ). Apresentam-se quatro níveis nos quais LZ formulou uma agenda metanacional para esta intelectualidade: uma agenda para os estudos eidéticos, uma agenda para o pensamento e a filosofia da ALC, uma agenda para a criação de redes de estudos da ALC, e uma agenda para a difusão mundial da cultura mexicana. Isto se faz relacionando numerosas formulações realizadas por pessoas que tentaram avaliar a obra e a trajetória do importante pensador mexicano: Werner Altmann, Carolina Guerrero, Abelardo Villegas, Enrique Dussel, Tzvi Medin, Javier Pinedo, Alberto Saladino, Fernando Ainsa, Pablo Guadarrama, entre outras. Quer-se, finalmente, projetar algumas ideias de LZ mais além do que ele mesmo formulou.

AN AGENDA FOR LATIN AMERICAN AND CARIBBEAN INTELLECTUALITY

Abstract: In light of the questioning about the different modalities which the Latin American and Caribbean intellectuality pursued to think beyond the nation state and through a metanational agenda thought by and for this intellectuality itself, it is studied the Leopoldo Zea’s (LZ) writings. There are presented four levels in which LZ created a metanational agenda for this intellectuality: an agenda for eidetic studies, an agenda for the ALC’s line of thinking and philosophy, an agenda for the creation of ALC’s study network, and an agenda for worldwide promotion of Mexican culture. This is only possible by linking plentiful formulations elaborated by people who tried to evaluate the work and the path of the important Mexican thinker: Werner Altmann, Carolina Guerrero, Abelardo Villegas, Enrique Dussel, Tzvi Medin, Javier Pinedo, Alberto Saladino, Fernando Ainsa, Pablo Guadarrama, among others. What is desired, at last, is to project some LZ’s ideas even beyond than he himself has formulated.
