THE NATURE FROM A PERSPECTIVE OF THE PHILOSOPHY OF LAW

The purpose of this essay is to address the theoretical and practical possibilities of a Marxist examination of the issue of preserving nature as a human right. The background is the relations between central countries, taking Brazil as part of Latin America, as it aims to demystify the strategy of defending degrowth policies for developing countries while, at the same time, the so-called developed countries are the biggest polluters on the planet. To achieve this goal, categories of the historical-dialectical method are used methodologically. The hypothesis is due to the aptitude of this field to criticize an environmental matrix that, in the name of supposed defense of nature, ends up legitimizing a discourse that condemns other countries to curb their own development possibilities. From the theoretical point of view, with the support of bibliographic research and specific literature, it aims to point to the specificity of the nature debate in Marx.
