Abstract

A few years ago, we observed the growth of the right in Brazil supported by evangelical religions, such as neo-Pentecostals. School is essential, but corporatist interests prevail, through proselytism, which discriminates against religious plurality. There were conflicts during the Bolsonaro government, highlighting religion in policies. In an attempt to strengthen neo-Pentecostal evangelical churches, African-based religions are being persecuted. At school there is an imposition of evangelical religions, the school is a place of diversity.

Keywords: Evangelicals; education; proselytism.
