O princípio da subsidiaridade e sua relação com a APA do município de Ilha Comprida, SP

Ilha Comprida é um município de história política e geológico-geomorfológica recente que foi transformado em APA (Área de Proteção Ambiental) na década de 1980 por determinação do governo do Estado de São Paulo. A região onde ele se localiza é muito rica em biodiversidade e também em modos de vida tradicional pela existência de algumas comunidades de pescadores caiçaras. As diferentes esferas de poder que atuam em Ilha Comprida, compreendidas a partir do Princípio da Subsidiariedade, não seguem na mesma direção e isso faz com que haja aí muitos conflitos de interesses. Quem sofre com essa situação são os seus moradores, destacando-se os caiçaras, que veem seu modo de vida intensamente alterado, nem sempre forma positiva, por essa situação.
