Abstract

As finanças alcançam, no período atual, uma centralidade inédita em todos os campos da vida social, assumindo um papel determinante sobre as dinâmicas do espaço geográfico (SANTOS, 1996; FRENCH et al., 2011). Na medida em que envolve transformações na economia, na política e na sociedade como um todo (CHRISTOPHERSON et al., 2013), a financeirização implica uma renovação dos próprios conteúdos do território e do cotidiano. Partindo de uma aproximação teórica sobre o processo em tela, o artigo busca desvendar certos nexos da creditização do território brasileiro para, em um segundo momento, focar a capilaridade alcançada pelas finanças entre a população pobre e seus impactos no cotidiano, onde a incorporação de nexos financeiros se combina à emergência de novas contra-racionalidades.

    Possui graduação - Bacharelado e Licenciatura - em Geografia pela Universidade de São Paulo (2002), Mestrado em Geografia pela Université Paris III (Sorbonne-Nouvelle) (2005), Mestrado em Geografia (Geografia Humana) pela Universidade de São Paulo (2006) e Doutorado em Geografia (Geografia Humana) pela Universidade de São Paulo (2012). Atualmente, realiza um Estágio de Pós-Doutorado em Geografia na Universidade de São Paulo (USP).
