SPATIAL ANALYSIS OF COVID-19 CASES IN SÃO GONÇALO IN THE PERIOD FROM 2020 TO 2022

The Long Pandemic of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome of Coronavirus 2 (Sars-Cov-2) declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020 extends to the 2022 World Cup heading into its third year. However, currently a pandemic finds itself in a different scenario from the initial periods, currently a pandemic as much as its new protocols and its symptoms. Within this context, geography together with spatial geoprocessing in the ability to execute its configuration and design decisions within this health conjuncture. In this way, the present work aims to spatialize and analyze the cases of COVID-19 in the municipality of São Gonçalo-RJ throughout all objective pandemic cases, in which there was a significant increase in four periods: February to May 2020, in throughout May 2020, until December 2020, February to May 2021 and months from 2021 to January 2022. For this, georeferencing by the ArcGis 10.8.2 platform of accumulated cases by neighborhood and then these cases were carried out were associated as weights to the weights of the respective centroids of each district of São Gonçalo. Subsequently, a formula from Hermuche, 2013 was used to obtain the displacement vectors. Among the results of the municipality, there are four waves presented, which has always been presented to the northeast of the direction neighborhood, due to the influence of the Jardim Catarina district.
