The text discusses the category of “intellectual on the move” used by Carlos Walter Porto Gonçalves to define his condition as researcher and activist. It was through the idea of movement that he searched to synthesize his trajectory of learning from territories, biomes, social movements, peasants, indigenous and traditional people leading to a spatial-temporal geohistory of his own experience.
