: The agents of the circles of cooperation in space linked to the spatial circuits of agricultural production in Brazil and France consist of organizations and institutions that foster cooperation in agribusiness and the agrarian world on political, commercial, social, scientific, and technological issues. This article aims to understand the role of these agents in relation to the disparities between producers in the upper and lower circuits of agrarian economies, through the diffusion and widespread use of information technologies and internet infrastructures, while considering the diversity of the Brazilian and French countryside. Methodologically, the research is based on a literature review, documentary and statistical research, fieldwork, and interviews conducted in Brazil and France, seeking to identify and analyze the main agents of the circles of cooperation and their connections with the digitalization of agricultural activities. The results reveal significant differences between the two countries regarding the territorial reach of internet networks and the diffusion of information technologies in rural areas. In France, there is a greater density of connectivity infrastructure and a stronger role of public research institutions and social organizations in disseminating these technologies among different groups of producers, with the potential to mitigate disparities. In Brazil, although public research institutions play a fundamental role in the development and diffusion of digital technologies applied to agriculture, the insufficient and uneven territorial reach of internet networks constitutes an obstacle to the dissemination of these technologies, particularly among small- and medium-sized producers. The circles of cooperation thus prove relevant to the articulation between agents and places and to the diffusion of information and digital technologies in the countryside.
