Abstract

We are entering a post-photography period, a moment after but not beyond photography. A diminuition of a collective faith in the ndexical relationship between the image and the real leads us to the death of photography as an autonomous medium. Image, instead, as a language is widespread and fortifies its link with poetry.

Raúl Antelo, UFSC

Professor titular de literatura em Santa Catarina. Bolsista do CNPq e da Fundação Guggenheim, foi professor em várias universidades americanas. É autor, entre outros, de Algaravia. Discursos de nação, Transgressão & Modernidade, Potências da imagem e Maria con Marcel. Duchamp en los trópicos. Colaborou, recentemente, em Candido Portinari y el sentido social del arte; A literatura latino-americana do século XXI, Viver com Barthes, Céu acima, para um tombeau de Haroldo de Campos e The Author as Plagiarist. The Case of Machado de Assis.
