A reading of the tension between poetry and prose at the foundation and along the history of modern literature, in order to contextualize contemporary Brazilian poetry, here seen from the perspective of its emphasis on the prosaic and the narrative associated to serial composition, as means to stage both individual and collective experience and the role of writing in shaping experience.
