Abstract

The dream of the reason

This essay is a reflection on the place of poetry and literature in the context of current epistemological changes. From this point of view, the analysis focuses on essays by Mexican poet Octavio Paz, promoting a dialogue with discourses from several knowledge areas.

Olga Valeska, CEFET-MG

Professora de Língua Portuguesa e Literatura no CEFET-MG, a autora possui mestrado em Teoria da Literatura pela UFMG (1998), doutorado em Literatura Comparada pela UFMG (2003) e Doutorado Sanduíche UFMG/ El Colegio de México-COLMEX (2002). Atualmente participa do grupo de pesquisa financiado pelo CNPq, “Os intelectuais e a vida pública”, na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
