Abstract

How to analyze the mobility and instability of contemporary culture? This paper presents a research activity at the draft stage, offering answers to this question. To give an analytical access to cultural dynamics in which we live, it is proposed to distinguish three types of motion: the loco-motion (the physical displacement of human beings), media-motion (the experience of a world movement provided by media) and art-motion (aesthetic experience in movement provided by certain art works, mostly installations). First, it is to conceptualize and discuss these movements separately, and then study their convergence in real situations.
