Abstract

This article presents an overview of the modern Portuguese poetry from the 60's to the 90's, including reflections of confrontations and dialogues which relate different poets, as well as different poetical projects. The importance of certain thematical and critical choices of the lyrical subject and the intertextuality is discussed.

Doutora em Letras pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, e professora adjunta de Literatura Portuguesa da Universidade Federal Fluminense. Publicou A palavra silenciada - estudos de literatura portuguesa e africana, organizado em colaboração com Sílvio Renato Jorge, além de vários artigos sobre poesia portuguesa em periódicos especializados.
