Abstract

As we focus our argument on Blanchot’s L’Écriture du désastre [The writing of Disaster], our aim in this paper is both to approach disaster and fragmentary demand from skepticism and its expedients: return, repetition, ressassement – so that we may use a phrase so dear to Blanchot. Distintively from mourning’s traject, or from its frustration and impossibility under melancholy, the skepticism, or the laughless joy, along with another cheatings of Neutral casts a shadow of distrust upon the said.

Author Biographies

Eclair Antonio Almeida Filho, Universidade de Brasília

Tem doutorado em Letras (Língua Francesa e Literaturas de Língua Francesa) pela Universidade de São Paulo (2006). Professor Associado II do curso de Letras Tradução Francês-Português da Universidade de Brasília. Tem experiência na área de Letras, com ênfase em Literatura Francesa e em Tradução. Participa do Grupo de Estudos Blanchotianos e de Pensamento do Fora UNB-CNPq e do Grupo de Estudos Italo Calvino UNB-UFSC-CNPq. Atua também como professor do Mestrado em Estudos de Tradução (POSTRAD), na Universidade de Brasília.

Amanda Mendes Casal, INEP

Mestre em Estudos da Tradução pelo POSTRAD-UnB e Doutoranda em Estudos de Literatura na UFF.  Tem interesse em crítica e teoria literária, e aproximações entre literatura e filosofia. Pesquisa de doutorado em andamento sobre a relação de Maurice Blanchot com a poesia pelos desvios da exigência fragmentária e comunitária.
