Résumé

Este artigo discute como sistemas linguísticos e práticas culturais estruturam a conceptualização de tempo com base em eventos e números nas práticas situadas de quantificação, em vez de abstrações métricas universalizadas. Propõe-se um enquadramento teórico que integra Linguística Cognitiva, Antropologia Linguística e Psicologia Cognitiva, na perspectiva biocultural, apresentando caminhos inovadores para pesquisas empíricas – qualitativas, quantitativas e mistas – sobre temporalidade e sistemas de numeração. O objetivo central é demonstrar como as abordagens eventivas do tempo e modelos cognitivos de quantificação baseados na corporificação culturalmente situada contribuem para avanços significativos nos estudos contemporâneos da linguagem como fenômeno cognitivo e cultural.

Professor de língua Hatxa Kuĩ (SEE) e secretário da Federação do Povo Huni Kuĩ (FEPHAC).

Joaquim Paulo de Lima Kaxinawa /Joaquim Maná, do povo Huni kuĩ de território Praia da Carapanã no município de Tarauacá - Acre.
Nasci no seringal Xapuri no rio Tarauacá em 1963 que, atualmente é município de Jordão. Durantes a minha infância fui seringueiro e me alfabetizei em anos 80, concluir o magistério em 2.000 no programa de formação de professores que a Comissão Pró-Índio Acre coordenava. Fui professor em 2 territórios Huni kuĩ: no Jordão foi de 1983 a 1991, em território Praia da Carapanã de 1991 a 2007. Sou formado em ciência sociais, na Universidade estadual de mato grosso –UNEMT, em 2006. Fiz mestrado e doutor em linguistica na Universidade de Brasília –UnB em 2009 a 2014 e Pós-doutorando; Linguagem e Identidade na Universidade Federal do Acre – UFAC, em 2019 e 2020.
Fui fundador da Associação dos Produtores e Criadores Kaxinawa da Praia do Carapanã – ASKPA, e da Organização dos Professores Indígenas do Acre – OPIAC em ano 2.000. Atualmente moro na capital do Acre, em rio Branco e Sou secretario da Federação do povo Huni kuĩ do Estado do Acre - FEPHAC, membro do Laboratório da Interculturalidade – LABNTER, como pesquisador da cultura Huni kuĩ e articulador dos professores pesquisadores do povo Huni kuĩ no Estado do Acre.

Chris Sinha is Honorary Professor at the University of East Anglia; Visiting Professor at Southwest University, Chongqing; Associate Researcher at the University of Lisbon; and Senior Research Fellow, University of Las Palmas Gran Canaria. He gained his BA in Developmental Psychology at the University of Sussex and his doctorate at the University of Utrecht. Chris has taught in departments of Education, Psychology, and Language and Communication, in Britain, the Netherlands, Denmark and India, including three positions at full professor rank. He held the position of Head of the Department of Psychology at the University of Portsmouth, 2002-2005. He is an experienced plenary lecturer at international conferences and has been a lecturer at many graduate and research schools. He is Past President (2005-2007) of the UK Cognitive Linguistics Association and Past President (2011-2013) of the International Cognitive Linguistics Association; General Editor of the journal Language and Cognition (published by Cambridge University Press); and a member of four international journal editorial boards and three book series editorial boards.
