Abstract

The objective was to analyze the main difficulties experienced by entrepreneurs in the Creative Economy in Caruaru-PE. For this, the theory of intersectionality was mobilized, which makes it possible to understand the structures of oppression at the macro and micro social levels. Conducted semi-structured interviews by videoconference with five women and nine interviews per form via Google Forms. The interviews were carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic in the period from May to June 2020. It is concluded that the difficulties of entrepreneurs from Caruaru are related to financial management, the accumulation of hours, the technological difficulty, the peripheral and the challenges of acting in the digital environment
