Abstract

The research sought to analyze the innovative behavior of employees who work in a telecommunications company in Ceará. The study is exploratory, descriptive and quantitative, with data collected through a survey (questionnaire), with 187 employees and treated by descriptive statistics and factor analysis. The results point to a dynamic and flexible organization, which promotes stimuli and supports innovative behavior, however, it is necessary to improve the environment and organizational structure, in order to reinforce the innovative behavior. Finally, when innovative behavior is frequently adopted, organizational and process innovation results, with the organization-individual interaction, which promotes innovation, development and organizational competitiveness.
