The purpose of this teaching case is to provide learning from: (a) understanding of the importance and consequences of emotions for entrepreneurship, (b) knowledge of the sociocultural perspective of emotion in the context of entrepreneurship and (c) discussion on how emotion is fundamental and intense in the context of artistic entrepreneurship. The case tells the story of a young music artist, residing in the city of Salvador, who intends to undertake his musical work. During his journey, the artist faces all the movements and emotional challenges typical of an entrepreneur. Within an emotional dynamic, the enterprising artist learns to adapt ideas, face difficulties and establish partnerships.
