Educação e suporte institucional no desenvolvimento da orientação empreendedora individual

The general objective of this article is to analyze the contributions of entrepreneurial education (EE) and institutional support (IS) in the development of individual entrepreneurial orientation (IEO). Data were collected via a questionnaire from 222 students of undergraduate Business Administration, bachelor’s degree courses, in three Public Higher Education Institutions in Greater Florianópolis, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil. The findings demonstrated that the EE and the IS contribute to the development of the IEO of the students surveyed in terms of innovation, proactivity and propensity to risk, reinforcing the findings of research already carried out and the identification of incremental spaces.
