APONTAMENTOS SOBRE O FEMINISMO NAS SÉRIES FLEABAG E INSECURE

The criticism about the participation of women in the audiovisual, both in front and behind the screens, has been discussed by feminist theorists over the years. The new phase of the feminist movement, characterized by the use of social networks, has been using several tools provided by the Internet to expand their complaints about female representation in these spaces. From a historical review of cinema, the present work seeks to respond how this new wave is related to the increase in female productions made in recent decades and its relationship with the Feminist Film Theory. From the analysis of the tv series, Fleabag and Insecure, I also try to demonstrate how this new audiovisual scenario is able to deconstruct the "male gaze" present in the industry.
