Neste artigo, a tensão entre performance e representação é pensada a partir da análise de alguns trabalhos realizados pela artista inglesa Sam Taylor Wood, em especial, a série fotográfica Crying Men (2002-2004) e os vídeos Brontosaurus (1995), Hysteria (1999), Death Valley (2006) e Method in Madness (1998). Para isso, recorrese também a textos de Denis Diderot e Roland Barthes, com o objetivo de se estabelecerem as fronteiras e as semelhanças entre as figuras do ator e do performer.Downloads
