Abstract

This academic report reflects the notions of metabolism, choreography and epidemic (whether HIV in the 1980s or Covid in the 2020s) on the videographic work Einstein Remix, by Diambe da Silva, created from the poem of the same name by Ricardo Aleixo, which is its raw material. Unfoldings on the implicit thought of the Ubuntu philosophy and André Lepecki's concept of choreopolitics follow from this work, which ends up creating other poems through the practice of error.

Diambe da Silva , Artista independente, Brasil

Diambe da Silva (1993, RJ) é artista visual e tem um corpo de trabalho marcado pelo uso de matérias vivas, sendo recorrente o recurso de tecidos, raízes alimentares amefricanas, gravuras e coreografias que relacionam arquiteturas com movimentos espontâneos em elaborações plurais. Sua poética resulta em estruturas móveis, esculturas vivas, desenhos de fogo, mantos e outras variantes. Participou da exposição Carolina Maria de Jesus: um Brasil para os brasileiros no Instituto Moreira Sales (org. Helio Menezes e Raquel Barreto), Imagens que não se conformam no Museu de Arte do Rio (org. Marcelo Campos e Paulo Knauss), Os monstros de Babaloo, na galeria FDAG (org. Victor Gorgulho) e montou sua primeira exposição individual Ampla curva de coisa viva no Centro Cultural São Paulo.
