Abstract

This article proposes a reading of Área Branca (1978) by F.H.P. Brandão on which to evaluate the author’s thinking on the relationship with body image and writing. Fiama thematizes a refusal of writing, on its western model, this representation delete the image-simulacrum, which convey a direct vitality to the body. So, the search for a new writing surface merges with the creation of a body that can house the images, according to the metaphor of feeding. In articulating the theme of refusal of writing and depth of body while feeding / digestion, we found the rates of re-reading the thought of Antonin Artaud in the work of Fiama.
