Abstract

Considering the fulfillment of the Law no 10.639/03, the article presents six proposals for the teaching of African and African-Brazilian literature in high school, in view of the comparative method and the prospective approach (ABDALA JR., 2003).

Doutora em Letras pela Universidade de São Paulo e professora de Estudos Comparados de Literaturas de Língua Portuguesa na mesma instituição. Atua na graduação e na pós-graduação e é membro do Núcleo de Apoio à Pesquisa Brasil – África/USP. É autora, entre outros, de Literatura e marginalidade (Alameda, 2008) e Veredas da palavra (Ática, 2016).
