This article explores the protagonism of Black and Quilombola women in the maintenance and reconfiguration of quilombos as spaces of counter-colonialism. It analyzes the multiple violences that affect them, intensified by the intersectionality of face, gender, and class, and how their bodies become territories of affection and resistance. The research, based on a literature review, unveils female action in overcoming invisibility and in the tireless struggle for autonomy and dignity. Challenging patriarchal-racist-capitalist logics, they forge the continuity of Quilombola ways of life amidst persistent structural challenges.
