Abstract
The purpose is to analyse the social training process for women seamstresses, considering the changes in the working world and how these changes originates distinct social relations to increase the capitalist accumulation process. Had been conducted Oral History interviews with the purpose of social analysis, through narratives that tell about the interviewed’s personal experiences. The seamstresses report that home-based work enables the conciliation with the household care. It is perceived that the informality and insecurity results in consequences such as: low wages, long working days, legal rights loss and health consequences.
